About Ozark Regional Cats
Our mission is to promote positive and healthy community accountability for feral cat population care and management in the West Plains area.
Since 2017
Care & Advocacy For Our Feral Cats
Our History
In 2013 group of West Plains residents began caring for a small colony of feral cats. Since then, several other colonies have been identified in the area that required more resources than the initial group could provide.
In 2017 the group decided to organize a nonprofit to help provide for the colonies – including shelters, food, veterinary care, and TNR (Trap, Neuter, and Release).
At this time it was decided to incorporate, and assemble the group as a 501(c)(3) – and Ozark Regional Cats was born.
Today, Ozark Regional Cats is supported by a group of dedicated volunteers, most of whom also serve on the Board of Directors. We are entirely relient on the support of our local community – donations of food, cat litter, live traps, large rubbermaid containers for shelters, and money are gratefully accepted.
